THE LAKE HOUSE INN WEDDING VIDEO

Jessie and Jason had the perfect day for their March wedding at The Lake House Inn in Perkasie, Pennsylvania! They are so much fun to be around — they both have a great sense of humor, the biggest hearts, and we absolutely loved being surrounded by all of their friends and family for their special day!

The sun was shining and the warm weather was beautiful for their outdoor ceremony in front of the lake. And just before their ceremony, we captured their first look, where Jason’s reaction to seeing his bride was so sweet!

Their gorgeous ceremony included family heirlooms, such as the kiddush cups, and their grandfather’s tallit that was part of the canopy of the chupah. We loved their personal vows that made everyone laugh, cry, and bring tears of joy! Jessie included in her vows to Jason, “…you are my person, my best friend, my fur baby daddy, the dance partner and the balance I’ve always needed.” They really are the definition of a true team!

When talking to Jessie and Jason about what they were most excited for on their wedding day, they always told us about how excited they were for the reception, to dance the night away with all of the people they loved. Well, we now know why…not only do these two have some amazing dance moves, but so does the rest of their family! The band was awesome, the dancing was so fun, and the party didn’t skip a beat the entire night!

THIS IS THEIR LOVE STORY

Jessie and Jason met when they were studying Broadcast Journalism at the University of Maryland. Despite being an incredibly small major on a rather large campus, they didn’t actually meet until the start of their senior year in college. They had a class together and ended up becoming really great friends in a larger group of friends also in the Journalism major. They realized there was more to their friendship, but didn’t act on it because Jason didn’t want to jeopardize their friendship. But after a year, they made their relationship official!

Jessie, being the planner in their relationship, was helping Jason to plan their annual tailgate with friends at Maryland, not knowing that she was also planning her engagement! Jason made sure that both of their parents could make it for the tailgate as well, and when their parents arrived, Jason suggested they take a walk since their dog was getting chilly.

They walked to the large “M” on campus, and Jessie mentioned that they should take a picture. They gave her phone to her dad, who unknowingly was taking a video, and Jason proceeded to get down on one knee and ask Jessie to marry him! She shouted “yes!” and they were able to also chat with their siblings before heading back to the tailgate to celebrate with their friends.
