Park Chateau Wedding Highlight // Jessica + Mark
PARK CHATEAU WEDDING VIDEO
When asked what Jessica and Mark were most excited for on their wedding day, they replied, “We are excited to have the people who care most about us in one room. But honestly, we are just so excited to become husband and wife.” It’s evident that these two are perfect for one another just by listening to them read the love letters that they wrote to each other!
Opting for a more traditional ceremony at St. Michaels Church in Cranford, NJ, we love that the first moment where Mark sees Jessica walking toward him down the aisle that he starts to tear up — it just might be one of the sweetest moments we’ve seen! And when they were officially announced as husband and wife, after sharing their first kiss, you can tell how happy they are to be Mr. & Mrs. just by looking at the big smiles on their faces!
Their reception was held at the always gorgeous Park Chateau, and we loved walking around with the newlyweds, and our photographer bestie Jennifer Larsen, for portraits. Even in March, before the gardens started blooming, the landscape at Park Chateau was beautiful! The wind worked to our advantage that day, too, because we had the chance to capture the movement of Jessica’s breathtaking dress and veil! To see some of the images that Jennifer Larsen photographed of the couple, be sure to check out her blog here!
Knowing that their love will only continue to deepen and grow, Jessica’s sister said it best as she toasted to the newlyweds, saying “…years from now you’ll look back on this day, your wedding day, as the day you loved each other the least.”
THIS IS THEIR LOVE STORY
Jessica works for the NJ FMBA (Firefighters Union) and Mark is a Firefighter, so naturally their paths would cross eventually! Mark’s Battalion Chief wanted to set them up for a while, but the timing wasn’t just right. One day, Mark came into the office where Jessica works to have lunch with his co-worked and Jessica’s boss. She asked her boss to bring her a salad, and when they returned from lunch, Mark gave it to her instead! They started talking, and he asked for her number. Two weeks later, he called Jessica to ask her out to lunch, and after that lunch they started dating exclusively!
For Jessica’s birthday, Mark took her on a vacation to Portland, Maine to celebrate. Before they reached Portland, they stopped at the Nubble Lighthouse in Kittery Maine, where he popped the question! He even had a a photographer waiting to capture the moment. The most amazing part was that Jessica was completely surprised — she knew they would end up together, but didn’t know that it would happen at that moment. And that surprise made it so special.
Wishing you both a lifetime full of love and happiness!! Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Bagniewski! #MarkBagsaHarnden
