'HOT TEACHER DAN' WEDDING VIDEO

We just loved the “Hot Teacher Dan” story Lauren’s sister told as her Maid of Honor speech!  She talked about the moment these two first laid eyes on each other! It was so cute and all of their guests loved it... including us! Lauren and Daniel had such an amazing wedding day.  As the rain even held off for their portrait session in Redbank, we were left with romantic stormy gray clouds off in the distance.

THIS IS THEIR LOVE STORY

Lauren said she will never forget the moment she first saw Dan. She walked into new teacher orientation at her new job and sat right in front of him. The rest of the day was lost to her as she tried to sneak looks at this teacher she would be working with. Dan felt the same way when he saw Lauren and strategically planned for them to be partners for an activity later that afternoon. As the school year began, Lauren looked for excuses to go to the teachers’ lounge where Dan would usually be. Dan, discovering Lauren was single, would show up to her classroom almost everyday with teacher supplies and to help her adjust to her first year teaching. After a couple of weeks of this back and forth, Dan snuck Lauren his number on a post it inside of a pencil sharpener box. Soon enough, they were on their first date where Dan asked Lauren to the 8th grade dance... as a co chaperone. The rest, as they say, is history.

Dan and Lauren decided to check something off their bucket list this summer with a road trip to Toronto, Montreal and Niagara Falls. They ended their trip in Niagara Falls. As soon as they arrived, they walked to the end of the Falls. Dan and Lauren stopped to admire a beautiful rainbow and Dan thought this is the perfect moment. Lauren could tell something was going on because Dan was so nervous. Next thing she knew, he was  down on his knee. Although Dan swears he said more, all she heard was "Marry me?" and all she saw was her dream ring. Crowds of people all around were cheering. The only reply Lauren could think of was "Thank you". She still teases Dan that she didn't say "yes" yet! After the big  question, Lauren burst into a fit of laughter and Dan took her in his arms. Lauren and Dan spent the remainder of their trip celebrating their engagement and then came home to celebrate with family and close friends!
