LAURITA WINERY WEDDING VIDEO
Amy and Brandon’s wedding day at Laurita Winery was a wonderful way for us to kick off the 2019 wedding season! These high school sweethearts have been talking about this day since they were 14 years old — and it was filled with so much love, happiness, and support from their friends and family that just made it perfect!
When opening the letter that Brandon wrote to her, Amy became emotional, showing us that the way he drew her name. She said that is the way they always draw their names when writing notes to each other since they started dating…it was so sweet! And when Brandon saw Amy for the very first time as she walked down the aisle with her parents, we love how he smiled to his bride…it’s just priceless!
When we talked to Amy before the big day, she said they were most excited “to hear our names called for the first time as ‘Mr. & Mrs. Kent’! That is something that we envisioned and hoped for, for years!” And we loved that the moment after they shared their first kiss and were introduced as husband and wife, Amy had a big smile on her face, which truly shows how excited they were to finally be married!
THIS IS THEIR LOVE STORY
Amy and Brandon met freshman year of high school, and have been together ever since! The first night that Brandon & Amy talked, he jokingly asked Amy to marry him, because they had so much in common, and Amy of course said yes! After high school, they spent most of their relationship far apart, since Amy was in North Carolina for college and Brandon was in the Marine Corps, and now they are both back in New Jersey, together!
For their 8 year dating anniversary in December 2017, Amy and Brandon planned a weekend away in New York to celebrate. They always plan a visit to Central Park whenever they are in the city, to go and find the tree where they carved their initials back in their first year of dating. On that day, they went to the tree, and Brandon asked a couple walking by to take their picture. As the man started to hand back the phone to Brandon, he asked the man to take a few more, and it was in that moment that Brandon got down on one knee and asked Amy to be his wife!
