Janine + Chris // Wedding at Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty

cut 3.00_01_46_19.Still006-1.jpg

The feathers, the sparkle and shimming champagne accents could only mean one thing... a beautiful Gatsby inspired wedding!  Janine and Chris are two of the sweetest people and love to have fun - but let me tell you these two LOVE to dance!  We had so much fun shooting and editing their video, just take a look at their highlight and you will see why! (Spoiler Alert: There might have been a CO2 gun!!)

Janine and Chris were married at Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty in Point Pleasant right on the bay.  They had told us they were most excited about seeing each other for the first time and sharing their custom vows with one another... which was such a special moment!

We were so excited to see everything come together for Janine and Chris' wedding day!  They did such an amazing job with all the details- everything from the wedding cake, to the candy bar, bridesmaids accessories, even down to the beautiful center pieces!

These two danced the rest of the night way with their family and friends and the dance floor packed the entire night! And what a more perfect way to end the night but with a sparkler send off!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Chris DePetris!

Stephanie + Tim // Wedding at Battlegrounds Country Club

When our good friends, Stephanie and Tim, asked us to shoot their wedding of course we said "YES!!"  Not only have we known these two since highschool.... but they have been together since highschool! Yes, just like Justin and I, they have been together for over 14+ years!  So you can only imagine all the people who have been waiting for this day for over a decade, literally!  But it was SO worth the wait and we were so honored to capture this incredible day for our dear friends!

Stephanie and Tim had a beautiful wedding day!  We started the day out in their hometown of East Windsor getting ready at the Holiday Inn.  They had a huge bridal party of 22 people so it was so fun capturing everyone getting ready.  We then headed over to the Battlegrounds Country Club where all the other events of the day took place.  We LOVE when couples have first looks because it is such an special intimate moment couples get to share with each other before the rest of the day unfolds.  You have to watch their highlight video to see their reactions to each other, seriously the sweetest!!

As the sun started setting, Stephanie and Tim had a beautiful outdoor ceremony gathered by all of their close family and friends.  There is one part of the ceremony we did not include in the highlight and that was when Tim fainted during the vows!  Yes, you read that right, fainted!  Let's just say that was a first!  He was totally fine and picked himself right back up like nothing happened, I guess it was just a combination of the hot weather and all the nerves OR I guess you can say, Stephanie swept him off his feet! :)  We are so glad he is okay, and this will, for sure, be a moment they talk and laugh about for the rest of their lives!

We couldn't wait for their reception because we know these two like to party hard!  We had such a great time capturing the entire day and celebrating with our friends!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Trivisonno! #aslongasyoubothshallTRIV

Emily + Brian // Wedding at Crossed Keys Estate

CUT 3.00_04_22_14.Still006-3.jpg

What a magical day!  Emily and Brian's wedding at the Crossed Key's Estate was truly amazing!  Everything from their custom vows, to their fun breakout first dance, to all the incredible wedding details... and of course, their first look including their dog baby Khali!  These two share something truly special and you will see exactly why in their wedding video!

Emily and Brian met working at a summer camp, BUT have actually known each other since pre-school.  And yes, Brian still has a bowl Emily's mom made him from 20+ years ago when they went to preschool together! Like they say, sometimes life brings you full circle. In this case, Emily and Brian were reunited and that's where their love story began.

A beautiful September day, with an outdoor garden ceremony and reception under the big white tent with a fire pit and sparklers to end the night.  #WeddingGoals!  One of the most memorial moments of the day was during the ceremony.  It had become overcast, and a few rain drops started right before Emily was ready to walk down the isle.  But the rain held off, and the sun came out literally as their were pronounced husband and wife.  It was SO amazing!! The night with fill with celebrations, dancing and what would be a Jewish wedding without the Horah!!

Emily and Brian- thank you so much for letting us be there to capture this special day for you; it was truly an honor.  We wish you both nothing but love and happiness and we cannot wait to see what the future hold for the both of you!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Brian Grise! #GettingGrised

Samantha + Josh // Wedding at Windrift Hotel

Family and Love. Surrounding yourself with these two things on your wedding are what make this special day so meaningful. From the first day we met with Samantha and Josh, they couldn't say enough about their family and how important it was to them to share this day with them.  These two are adorable; they are so sweet, caring, full of smiles and passionate about life. And may I add, one good looking couple!  I mean c'mon... don't they looks like they are straight out of a bridal magazine?!

Samantha and Josh live in Pennsylvania but one of their favorite things to do is go to the beach.  Sam's parents have a beach house just a block away from the beach in Sea Isle City, so what could be more perfect than to celebrate this special day at a place they love most... the Jersey Shore!  Sam got ready with her girls at her beach house, while Josh and his guys got ready at a beach house right around the corner.  They had the most perfect weather for the beach wedding they have always dreamed of!

They were married in the most beautiful church in Sea Isle- light, bright and tall grand ceilings.  Josh's reaction to seeing his bride come down from the isle was absolutely priceless, you'll just have to watch the highlight video to see this sweet moment!  We then headed down to Avalon, NJ to their amazing venue, the Windrift Hotel.  It was there that we caught the breathtaking sunset on the beach with these two.  We had so much fun working along side Susan during portrait session!

The rest of the night was filled with dancing, the BEST dad speech and celebrating this next chapter of their lives!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Josh Burnside! #SEAyoudowntheISLE2017

TONEMEDIA // The next big adventure!

Finally sharing some BIG news on the blog today!

I am SO excited to finally announce that I am officially full time with Tonemedia!!  Can you say, #allthefeels?!

When we started Tonemedia just 3 years ago, we could have never imaged that it would grow into the amazing thing it is today.  Seriously, still trying to figure out how perfectly this all fell into place.  In the past few years, Tonemedia has organically grown by word of mouth and referrals into this amazing dream of a job.  What makes this journey even more special to us is all of the relationships we have built along the way- with couples, families, clients, photographers and other creatives in the industry, whom in which we call our friends. That is one part of our job that we cherish the most!

I am a big believer that everything happens for a reason; and I know now that "one of my reasons" in this life is to tell amazing stories through the art of video.  Whether that is through capturing a wedding day, a couples love story, family milestones or even creative business promos.  My heart is in storytelling. It is the perfect creative outlet for me that my mind is hungry for!  As some of you may or may not know, my background is actually in Interior Architecture.  That is what I went to school for and then eventually worked my way up to work for one of the top architecture firms in the world. But sometimes God has other plans for you and life takes you in a different direction.  And for that, I am truly thankful.

Let's face it, there is no hiding that I am a perfectionist- so I am always striving for perfection. But I am also always pushing myself to better and improve my craft.  Whether that means doing something differently or looking at something in a different perspective.  It keeps my creative juices flowing, inspires me and allows me to be a better version of myself every time.

Working with my husband, Justin, has been a true blessing.  I know, I know- we get the "you work with your husband? I would never be able to do that!" phrase all the time.  But to be totally honest with you, we work perfectly together.  Maybe even too perfect!  We feed off of each others energy and creativity.  What I lack he provides and what he lacks, I provide. We love…love!  And I can guarantee you every time we deliver a video to our couple, I have tears pouring out of my eyes! Maybe it’s because it reminds me of our wedding day and the love we share for each other throughout these past 13+ years of being together.  Maybe because we get to remind couples and families what there wedding day was truly about; love and family.

Justin and I have found our true passion in this life.  I feel truly blessed that I get to live out my dream job- documenting history, capturing moments into memories and telling one of life's greatest love stories.  I wouldn't have it any other way.

Here's to continuing this amazing journey, new adventures ahead and never looking back!

A BIG thanks to the very talented Mekina Saylor for all the amazing photos!!

Lauren + Lindsay // Wedding at Crossed Keys Estate

"Your wedding day is one that seems to fly by. It’s a day filled with emotions, family and friends, rings and dances. Think about the happiness that you are feeling in this moment, right now."  Lindsay and Lauren's wedding day was incredible.  Watching the love between these two and their family and friends loving and supporting them was so special; our hearts are so full!

Lauren and Lindsay's wedding was held at the beautiful Crossed Key’s Estate.  This place was nothing short of A-MAZING!  Can we just say “emjoi heart eyes”?!  Every corner of this place was picture perfect.  Lindsay got ready with her girls in the Grist Mill Playhouse while Lauren and her girls got ready at the Estate House.  They exchanged the most heartfelt cards and one of the most unique gifts- you have to watch their highlight video to see their reaction. It was priceless!

Before the ceremony, Lindsay and Lauren shared their first look under this beautiful weeping elm free with some family and friends standing close by to get a glimpse of this special moment.  During the ceremony, the officiant told the story of how these two first met, their unique engagement story and exactly what makes them so perfect for each other.

Lauren and Lindsay love to have fun so it was so surprise when these two honey’s took over the dance floor during the reception.  We had so much fun celebrating with them and even we showed off few dance moves ourselves!

And what could be a more perfect way to end the night but with a sparkler exit! All of their family and friends cheering them on as they begin their new adventure together! #AmenShesaLen

Congrats to the new Mrs. & Mrs. Len!

Kelly + John // Wedding at Brotherhood Winery

Compassionate, loyal, fun and romantic - These are just a few words that describe these two high school sweethearts. Kelly and John's love story holds a very special place in our heart, as it is very similar to our love story!  Falling in love with your best friend as a teenager, growing up together-never apart, experiencing so many stages of life together before marriage and then just waiting for 'him' to finally pop the question after 10 years of dating!  But the wait is so worth it...  and this video is SO worth the wait!  Full screen, sound on, tissue's in hand - get ready this is a good one!

Kelly and John got married on a beautiful summer day in Warwick, NY at the cutest little chapel on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful Upstate New York. Surrounded by close friends, family and even their dog Toby as they exchanged custom vows to one another and were officially made 'Husband and Wife'!

Their reception was held at Brotherhood Winery, the perfect rustic and charming venue with exposed beams, stone wall and hanging string lights above the dance floor.  Kelly and John made this amazing hanging photo collage, filled with all memories of them together and as kids.  Such a sentimental and personal touch to their wedding! As the night went on, these two were not shy on the dance floor; in fact, the entire dance floor was packed the entire night!  What a great way to celebrate these two newlyweds!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. John Santiago! #Forever5antiago

Ruth + Chris // Wedding at Clarks Landing Yacht Club - Point Pleasant, NJ

CUT 2 - JH.00_04_49_36.Still005-1.jpg

Ruth and Chris ... where do we even begin?! Let's just start off by saying that these two are perfect for each other!  When they are together, their smiles light up the room and your heart completely melts just watching the love they share. They love to have fun, be silly and love doing life together!

Their wedding at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant was absolutely beautiful!  They did a first look with each other right out on the dock. The anticipation of Ruth taking the long walk up to Chris was absolutely priceless!

Ruth and Chris then shared their custom vows with each other with the most perfect backdrop, along the water with the sun setting surrounded by all of their family and friends. Their vows made your eyes water and laugh all at once!  But one of our favorite parts of the ceremony was seeing Chris watch his bride come down the isle and that smile he just couldn't contain.  You can't help put just smile along with him!

And can we just talk about the seagull that made an appearance in almost every shot?!  During their portrait session, their vows and sunset shots.  Not sure what the exact symbolism is for that, but I would call it good luck!

We loved everything about their special day.  The stunning sunset, the glimmer in each of their eyes and their most perfect love story.  You can't help but to just love their love!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Chris Headley!

Melissa and Kevin Wedding at Trenton Country Club

Melissa and Kevin were married on a beautiful summer day filled with family, friends and so much love!  These two are kind-hearted, easy-going and when it comes time to party, they know how to break out those dance moves!

After saying their "I do's" at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Hamilton, NJ, we headed over to Trenton Country Club for portraits and night of celebration with dinner and dancing.  This venue was beautiful... everything from the historic clubhouse to the amazing grounds.

Nicole + Anthony // Wedding at Eagle Oaks Country Club

Nicole + Anthony Wedding at Eagle Oaks Country Club

Nicole and Anthony's wedding day was beautifully planned from start to finish; from their first look to their custom vows to their charming venue and all the little details of the day. It was perfection!

These two did their first look at Monmouth University; the very same location where they first met each other. We shot the most perfect little courtyard garden for the big reveal.  Be sure to check out the video to see Anthony's reaction to his bride- it is so sweet!  Later that day Nicole and Anthony shared their custom vows as they were surrounded by all of their friends and family.  It was so special to witness the love these two share for each other!

We have been so looking forward to capturing Nicole and Anthony's wedding.  They are part of the trio-of-friends we have been so lucky to shoot weddings for. It all started in 2015 with Christine and John's wedding, then in 2016 we shot Jessica and John's wedding and this year, Nicole and Anthony's wedding. We have loved getting to know each of these friends the past couple of years and of course capturing all of their epic dance moves during reception!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Appezzato!
